Get The Blessing have a brand new single and video out today - “Dude indigo” from their soon to be released album Pallett.
I really love this one and the video is very satisfying to me. Gazelle Twin released “Fear Keeps Us Alive” this week from the forthcoming “Black Dog”….
The video for this is well worth a watch, I felt it in quite an emotional way listening to the lyrics at the same time - the whole album is centred around themes of fear, stemming from childhood and following us into our adult lives and :
“The fear in ‘Fear Keeps Us Alive’, says Gazelle Twin aka Elizabeth Bernholz, is a “daily, constant, almost mundane common fear among women. I have often connected this lifelong feeling to the sense of a ghostly male presence that lurks in my dreams. Women are (and always have been) constantly haunted by the potential of being harmed.”
Something we can unfortunately all relate to I think.
