I'm not alone cos the TV's on...

I get this song stuck in my head very, very frequently... It’s a song that I absolutely love (Bleed American), by a band who I know absolutely nothing about (Jimmy Eat World).

Does anyone else do that, fall in love with one song by an artist and just never get around to checking out anything else they’ve done? Is it just me?

This came out in 2001, so I’ve had plenty of time and there’s no excuse. Maybe it was so perfect that I just didn’t need any others. It was on MTV2 all the time and has stuck with me all these years; I’ll be at home alone for the day and somehow it finds its way into my brain, from nowhere. The words have always got under my skin - maybe now more than ever, given that I can’t stand to be in silence for any time at all.
